Specific work may be commissioned - in terms of a portrait or other subject, either singularly or as a series for a particular space.
Portraits may be painted from a series of sittings in the studio or located elsewhere, in conjunction with photographs.
The details and scale of fee for commissions are clearly set out within a signed letter of agreement between both parties. Payment is normally made in instalments, with 25% of fee being paid initially to cover costs. Viewings of the work ‘in progress’ can also be arranged.
